ARCCI educated on the use of Biometric Smart Card (E-zwich)

The Accra Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry have been introduced to the use of the National Electronic Payment System   (E-zwich Smart Card) at their monthly meeting on Wednesday. Mr Yorku Korsah, the Chief Operating Officer of Ghana Interbank Payment & Settlement System Ltd a subsidiary of the Bank of Ghana in his presentation stated that the card can be linked to a traditional bank account and transaction fees would be very low. He emphasized that the National Electronic Payment System would provide business opportunities for Point of Sale Representatives
